Germany releases latest photovoltaic bill "Solarpaket1"

The German parliament has approved a policy package called "Solarpaket1" aimed at supporting the photovoltaic (PV) industry.

·Commercial and industrial sector: The new law provides higher feed-in tariffs for commercial and industrial (C&1) solar projects, at €0.015 (approximately US$0.016) per kilowatt-hour above current levels.

Large-scale solar projects: The upper limit for solar projects in large-scale installation tenders has been increased from 20GW to 50GW.
